McLean Fine Art and Windermere Properties, Inc.
Sunset Strip Offices presents an art exhibition
hosted by McLean Fine Art

Los Angeles, CA. — As part of Windermere Art and Charity, McLean Fine Art and Windermere Properties, Inc. Sunset Strip Office are pleased to announce an exhibition of five McLean Fine Art artists — Dean Styers, Mimi Drop, Jeremy Quinn, Paul Pitsker, and Ryan Villiers. Windermere Properties, Inc. opened their Sunset Strip branch in September 2005 and this will be their debut exhibition in their new offices.

The Windermere Art and Charity program combines the agency's passion for supporting local artists with their passion for philanthropy; a percentage of each art sale will benefit five charities as selected by each of the participating artists.

The collaboration between Windermere and McLean Fine Art is a perfect synergy between each organization's support of the arts and local artists, and their commitment to charitable causes. Founded by Ashley McLean Emenegger, McLean Fine Art (MFA) provides art consultancy services, visual artist career coaching, and distinctive fine art exhibitions. MFA works with some of Los Angeles' brightest artistic talents, drawing from a broad range of artists and media, including painting, photography, video, mixed media, installation, digital and sculpture, to provide unique art for private and public projects. This exhibition will showcase five of MFA's 35 artists.

About the Artists in the Exhibition:

  • Dean Styers' paintings have been described as bubblegum noir — sweetly nostalgic images, sometimes cynical or melancholy, off-set by his wry text that weaves a pop-graphic portrayal of sentimentality.
  • Mimi Drop's Dream House photographs of exquisite miniaturized home environments provoke the question — What is reality in the context of vast changes in the world around us?
  • Paul Pitsker's Strange Angels series depicts figures in the condition of not entirely being in the world — of being outside it, in a subjective space that doesn't entirely mesh with the commonplace.
  • Jeremy Quinn's work provides glimpses of the underlying order of things or insight into how it all comes together. "I am an urban naturalist, armed with the digital tools of media production, architectural design, and urban analysis."
  • Ryan Villers' digital images have been described by Newsweek as "innovating a new genre of deconstructed surrealism." Villier's manipulates line and form to create seemingly simple expression that is packaged in a larger, more complex message.
