May 1, 2006 — In the heart of Culver City's flourishing Art District stands a red brick warehouse, no longer what it was. Bandini Art's founder, Josh Kaplan, collaborating with renowned architects Johnston Marklee, has dropped an asymmetric, white jewel box into the space. While respectfully preserving its brick integrity as an artifact, Bandini Art has transformed the warehouse.

Inspired by our founder's daughter, an accomplished writer and young woman of courage, wit, and generosity, who died at the age of 24, having adopted the nickname "Bandini," Bandini Art is dedicated to offering a warmly welcoming, contemporary art gallery emphasizing the unique vision of the most current artists in all media.

Bandini Art provides a stimulating architectural space for the appreciation of the artistic courage posed by the formidable talent pool of the newest generation in an illustrious history of contemporary art in Los Angeles.

Ashley McLean Emenegger is honored to serve as Bandini's Consulting Director, and McLean Fine Art is pleased to include some of its artists in the exhibition program at Bandini Art.

About Ashley McLean Emenegger:
Ashley McLean Emenegger has juried and curated scores of fine art and video exhibitions throughout Los Angeles. Her exhibitions have been reviewed in the Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, the LA Business Journal, and Artweek. She also serves as curator and art advisor to numerous nonprofit groups and charity events. As the former Executive Director of Gallery 825/LAAA, a nonprofit supporting emerging Southern Californian artists, she presented hundreds of critically recognized exhibitions and programs. She founded McLean Fine Art in September 2004.
